Aerial Adventures airships

The "Mighty Madison" was ordered early in 1927 and entered service late in 1928. A further experiment in the Navy's flying carrier program, Madison doesn't pack as much of a punch as her bigger ZRS sisters, but she's got good range and her F9C Sparrowhawk pilots are crack shots. While her newer, better equipped sisters get more press these days, the Madison spends her days based out of Guantanamo Bay, patrolling for air pirates, mob cigar boats, and general distress calls.

The Dragon Lady is the flying airbase of the notorious Remi's Raiders air pirates, based out of Barbados. The Lady was lifted from an Imperial German naval base by Remi and his crew. Having become solidly disillusioned with the war, the soon-to-be pirate and his air team abandoned their posts and ran for the Atlantic by dirigible. Escaping several British picket patrols, it's a wonder the brassy German defectors managed to get the ship past Europe. Since then, Remi and his gang have taken up a territory in the Caribbean, prowling for vulnerable cargo ships and the occasional liner if possible. The sky pirates have gone on to have a fairly legendary relationship with the US Navy, always managing to slip away. While being war fugitives in addition to pirates, the governor of Barbados turns a blind eye to the zeppelin's presence if "donated" to.
